Which means it isn’t using the VPN.
I’m guessing Android Auto wireless. And if so it makes perfect sense. You can’t route everything through a VPN when your connecting to a device with a local network.
I mean yes they deserve to get paid. Do you do stuff for free? I mean it’s funny how people complain about ads but nobody is willing to pay for anything.

So we are stuck with YouTube and ads. I know people complaint about them but what is the alternative. People have to eat.
And yes I block ads I don’t care but I understand why they are needed. And for some reason most don’t block them.
